Tamagotchi Generations were the first Tamagotchis made on November 20, 1996.Bandai has made many Tamagotchi Generations that are all over the world! They became popular all over Asia, Europe, and The Americas.Tamagotchi means, "Lovable Egg" in japanese.

Taking Care of Your Tamagotchi

First of all, the tamagotchi is in an egg which hatches into a male or a female. It must be treated kind of like a child! When it gets hungry or bored, it will make a beeping noise.You must check to see what it wants. When it is sleeping you must turn off the lights. Sometimes when your tamagotchi beeps and it doesn't want anything, you must dicipline it .This means it is calling for your attention.Make sure you take care of your tamagotchi when it is sick be giving it medicine (sometimes it might need two doses). When you don't take care of your tamagotchi, it will pass away. If you follow the directions, your tamagotchi will live a healthy life!
